- Client profile
- Company with foreign shareholders · documents must be coordinated across countries and languages · Location: Norway (coordinated with Nakhon Pathom)
- Services used
- family law (marriage, divorce, children) + full-service legal and document certification + corporate and commercial law work
- Challenge
- It was unclear whether an apostille or embassy legalisation applied — the task was to make this set usable by the receiving authority in Norway in the required format.
- What we did
- compare the spelling of names against the passport and the main reference documents
- review each original document and produce a checklist of what to fix before filing
- have a second reviewer proofread the translation independently of the translator
- draft a power of attorney that covers every step to be handled on the client's behalf
- Outcome and indicative timeline
- the risk points were corrected before filing, which reduced the number of revision rounds · about one working week, depending on the intake cycle
- What mattered most to the client
- detailed checking before filing to reduce the chance of a return
