A: Yes — Notarial Services Attorneys are licensed by the Lawyers Council of Thailand under the Ministry of Justice. Documents further legalized by the Thai MFA + destination-country Apostille or embassy are recognized in 195+ countries.
Q: Do I need to be physically present to notarize a Power of Attorney (POA)?
A: Yes. Under Thai Notarial Services regulations (2003) the signer must appear in person before the notary with a valid passport. Online notarization is not yet available in Thailand.
